Mechmar Cochran Boilers SDN BHD is a leading boiler manufacturer in South East Asia produces steam boilers with capacities ranging from 1000 lbs to 60000 lbs steam per hour for hotels, hospitals, industrial applications and oil mills. The variety of boilers produced encompass water tube boilers, fire tube boilers, towler boilers and waste heat steam generating boilers. The company also manufacturers thermal fluid heaters, economizers and other pressure vessels.

Complying with international manufacturing standards such as BSS (British), ASME (American), DIN (German), and JIS (Japan) 40 percent of the boilers produced are exported to Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and China while 60 percent is for Malaysian market.

Major projects undertaken during the year include the supply of 40 tonnage 15 bar boilers for Kuala Lumpur International airport Project in Sepang as well as the furnishing of Corner Water Tube heat recovery boilers for an MSE Project.

In line with the buoyant demand for boilers in south East Asia, the company is discussing plans to set up a joint venture company n Indonesia to manufacture water tube boilers for the palm oil industry.
